Armando is an Associate at Olivares & Cía. He mainly offers consulting in IP matters -trademarks and patents-, as well as advertising matters related to Trademarks and Pharmaceutical products. Armando also gets involved in consulting and litigation regarding unfair competition, trade dress protection and misleading advertising before the Mexican Institute of Industrial Property (IMPI), Federal Court of Tax and Administrative Affairs (FCTA), Federal Circuit Courts (FCC) and the Supreme Court of Justice (SCJ) Regulatory Affairs and Public Acquisitions. He is in charge of patent infringement and invalidity litigation in the pharmaceutical field. Furthermore, he participates in the protection of the linkage system between marketing authorizations and patents in force before the Federal Commission for Protection against Sanitary Risks; and is in charge of cases regarding public tenders within the health field and acquisition proceedings.
