Osvaldo Amaral is a Brazilian born US-educated Mexican-practicing senior patent Associate at Olivares & Cía. His practice includes advising Mexican public and private enterprises, as well as international clients on all aspects of patent-related protection including Mexican and worldwide strategic patent prosecution and procurement; patent portfolio management; patent litigation and enforcement; and licensing and technology transfer. He currently represents clients in a wide range of technologies including information technology, telecommunications, transportation, clean technology, nanotechnology, aerospace, steel manufacturing, banking and finance. He has also written several articles concerning the protection of patent rights in Mexico and frequently attends a number of international patent conferences each year around the world.
