Associate Coordinator of the Anti-piracy/Anti-counterfeit department. He has a wide experience in developing and managing successful enforcement campaigns for different clients from a variety of industries such as entertainment, fashion, high technologies, telecommunications, pharmaceutical, food, etc.
Sergio has developed customized approaches for the enforcement of our clients’ Intellectual Property rights —including Trademark, Copyright and Patent— through a variety of strategies from cease and desist/educational letters to administrative and criminal actions.
Through the passage of time, the requirements of clients in the high technologies, entertainment, telecommunication and pharmaceutical fields, led him to deepen his expertise in such industries. It is this earned expertise which lets him foresee the problem and the available solutions to the enforcement of the valuable IP rights portfolios.

• Motion Picture Association v. Saharis. Representing MPA in an administrative complaint to stop parallel imports of copyrighted works and unauthorized rent of films.

When I'm not being a lawyer...
I'm a passionate college professor, enthusiastic about new technologies and Mexican wine. I'm also a photographer who spends spare time looking for undiscovered spots. I'm still capable of getting amazed at surprises awaiting around the corner. |
